The San Diego Police Department is set to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate completion of more than $1 million in upgrades to the building known as Police Plaza, a former Chargers facility turned hub for SDPD training and recruitment.
The ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. at 4020 Murphy Canyon Road.
