San Diego police warn popular “Senior Assassin” game could lead to dangerous situations

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A popular high school game known as “Senior Assassin” is raising safety concerns across San Diego, with police warning that realistic-looking toy guns used in the competition could trigger dangerous misunderstandings.

The game, typically organized by high school seniors, is an elimination-style competition in which students are assigned a target and attempt to “eliminate” them using water guns or gel blasters before they themselves are tagged.
