SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new immersive exhibit highlighting one of California’s most endangered amphibians is hopping into Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography next month.
Aquarium officials announced on Thursday that the exhibit — “Imagine Wild: Mountain Yellow-legged Frog’ — will open on March 20, 2026.
The exhibit will transport visitors through a fictional landscape of forests, meadows and alpine lakes that mirror the frog’s natural habitat.
