SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Cal Fire officials said that they are actively working to rescue one person from a vehicle after a head-on collision on SR-94 Monday afternoon.
Officials said they responded to the incident just after 3 p.m. near Little Tecate Road. Both vehicles were reportedly driving at a high rate of speed when they collided head-on.
One driver had minor injuries and is expected to be released at the scene. The other driver is currently being rescued from their vehicle and will be airlifted to a hospital…
