SAN DIEGO — Residents of the City of San Diego will soon have access to significantly more free parking at Balboa Park under a new program launching Monday, March 2.
City officials say verified residents will be able to park for free all day in seven of the park’s 12 parking lots. The remaining five premium lots will still charge fees, but verified city residents will receive discounted rates when paying online.
Overall, about 70% of parking spaces in Balboa Park’s lots will be free for verified residents.
How to qualify
