SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A suspect accused in the 2022 killing of a woman in Pacific Beach has been extradited back to San Diego County to face charges, authorities announced Friday.

According to the San Diego Police Department, officers responded around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 13, 2022, to a report of an injured woman on the beach near the 700 block of Reed Avenue.
When Northern Division officers arrived, they found bystanders providing medical aid to the victim, who appeared to have suffered at least one gunshot wound to her upper body. Officers began lifesaving efforts until personnel with San Diego Fire-Rescue arrived.
