SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Forty-one years ago, San Diego County Sheriff Kelly Martinez began her law enforcement career.
Much has changed since then, but Sheriff Martinez’s dedication to serving the public is unwavering. Tuesday on “Good Morning San Diego,” Sheriff Martinez discusses the past, present and future of her career.
“I had so many great opportunities,” Sheriff Martinez said. “I was a Deputy for 22 years, and I spent a lot of time undercover, working those types of assignments. I think I would have sort of enjoyed that more. I think taking a moment and appreciating the opportunities I had and how different it was from any job in the world.”…
