Daylight Savings Time comes this Sunday morning

Daylight Saving Time is upon us. I don’t mind when we “fall back” in the Fall since we get more sleep. When we “spring forward” in the Spring, it cuts out an hour of sleep, which can be devastating to teenagers who enjoy sleeping in.

Some tips I saw for battling the loss of sleep are to try to go to bed a little bit earlier, leading up to Saturday night, so when Sunday morning comes around, drowsiness might not be too bad, as your body has adjusted.

Another suggestion is to take it easy on Sunday, do light activities, don’t overdrink too much caffeine, and continue going to bed a little bit earlier so when the work week/school week resumes on Monday morning, you are refreshed and ready to handle the week…
