A massive fire has devastated Punta Zicatela, nearby to Puerto Escondido, home of the “Mexican Pipeline” as known to surfers.
The inferno broke out in the middle of the night on March 6th, and left a path of destruction in its path. Nearly all the local businesses in the Zicatela area were destroyed. Fortunately, as of now, there have been no human casualties reported.
