SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A San Diego television journalist is facing possible hate crime charges after investigators say he shot at two men in separate incidents on Palomar Mountain and targeted them because of their ethnicity.

San Diego County deputies arrested 46-year-old Ricardo Berron on Tuesday at San Diego International Airport as he was preparing to leave for a vacation, authorities said.
Investigators say forensic evidence linked Berron, a former reporter and anchor for the Spanish-language stations Univision and Telemundo, to both shootings.
Berron declined to comment when approached outside his home in Chula Vista. He quickly got into his car and drove away without responding to questions about the accusations…
