MTS launches commute cost calculator as gas prices soar

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Amid soaring gas prices in San Diego County and across the country, the Metropolitan Transit System is launching a new tool to help commuters compare the cost of driving with taking the bus or trolley.

“It’s been pretty convenient because you know you can get around as far as it lets you go, and you don’t have to pay for gas or anything like that,” said Layla Gray.
