LAKESIDE, Calif. — A search is underway for a 40-year-old hiker reported missing in El Capitan County Preserve, prompting a response from local authorities on Sunday.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the hiker was last heard from on Saturday morning. The missing person report was filed on Sunday at 10:49 a.m., launching an extensive search effort.
