SAN DIEGO — A routine hike along a coastal trail near Black’s Beach turned into a disturbing discovery for one San Diego woman, who says she found more than a dozen dead baby leopard shark scattered along the path.
“I was hiking down with a couple of friends. I couldn’t really tell what I was seeing at first, then as I got closer I realized they were baby leopard sharks,” said Emily Dean.
