SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 28-year-old man has died after being stabbed late Friday night in the Barrio Logan neighborhood, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, officers were dispatched around 11:13 p.m. to the south alley of the 1600 block of Logan Avenue after receiving multiple reports of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found the victim — described as a man of Somali decent — collapsing at the scene. A bystander, along with responding officers and paramedics, provided medical aid.
The man was then transferred to a local hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, he later died from his injuries.
