EL CAJON, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — More than 5,000 San Diego Gas & Electric customers started their day without power in East County Wednesday.
The utility company reported around 6 a.m. that approximately 3,192 residences had lost electricity in the Granite Hills, Bostonia and east El Cajon communities. Another 2,087 customers in Blossom Valley and El Monte also experienced service disruptions.
The estimated restoration time, as noted by SDGE, was 8 a.m. Power has since been restored to these areas…
