Suspect arrested in fatal stabbing of 28-year-old man in Barrio Logan

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Police have identified the victim that was attacked by a group of people and fatally stabbed late Friday night in Barrio Logan, and at least one suspect is in custody.

San Diego Police officers were responding to calls for a stabbing just after 11 p.m. Friday when they saw Abdifatah Hussein, a 28-year-old man of Somalian decent, collapse to the ground from stab wounds in an alley in the 1600 block of Logan Avenue.

First responders and a bystander gave Hussein medical aid and took him to a local hospital where he later died.
