The County Planning Commission —not the planning group, which many local people confuse with the commission— will conduct a public hearing on the Socially Equitable Cannabis Program, April 10, 9 a.m. at the County Operations Center (COC) Hearing Room, 5520 Overland Ave., San Diego.
The Planning Commission will forward its recommendation to the Board of Supervisors on the proposed Socially Equitable Cannabis Program (SECP) including draft Zoning Ordinance amendments and the Final Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR).
SECP also includes amendments to the Regulatory Code and the Social Equity Program, which are outside of the commission’s jurisdiction. However any input from the Commission will be shared with the board…
