SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Crews responded to a vegetation fire in San Marcos on Sunday afternoon.
San Marcos Division Chief/Fire Marshal Jason Nailon told a FOX 5/KUSI crew at the scene that the fire started around 3 p.m. near the 500 block of La Moree Road.
Cal Fire said forward progress of the fire had been stopped around 4 p.m. Both the San Marcos Fire Department and Cal Fire assisted with the knockdown efforts. Air resources were also used…
