The Streamline: SD Community College District begins process to rename Cesar Chavez Campus

The fallout surrounding labor leader Cesar Chavez continues today, as the San Diego Community College District’s Board of Trustees will consider renaming its Cesar Chavez Campus in Barrio Logan.

San Marcos residents are back in their homes after the Moree fire caused some evacuations on Easter Sunday. The fire burned just under two acres and damaged one building.

Iran and the U.S. have received a draft proposal calling for a 45-day ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The proposal comes from Egyptian, Pakistani, and Turkish mediators, hoping the 45-day window will provide enough time for talks to reach a permanent ceasefire.
