IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. — An Imperial Beach man is facing federal charges for allegedly selling dozens of guns without a license to members of the Sinaloa Cartel and local gang members.
On April 7, agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) arrested 41-year-old Oscar Villalobos Iriarte for allegedly purchasing guns and rifles at San Diego gun shops and then turning around and selling them to gang and cartel members.
According to a search warrant obtained by CBS 8, from June 2016 through March 2026, Villalobos Iriarte illegally purchased and sold as many as forty-four firearms, three of which were recovered at crimes scenes throughout San Diego and two were recovered in Tijuana…
