SAN DIEGO — Fire crews battled a brush fire that burned in Black Mountain Ranch near Tanner Ridge Road on Sunday afternoon.
The two-acre vegetation fire broke out shortly after 3:30 p.m. in a canyon in the 15900 block of Atkins Place. The fire sent large plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen miles away.
Fire officials said there was no damage to structures, nor were there evacuation orders…
