SAN DIEGO — All southbound lanes of State Route 163 between Interstate 8 and Interstate 5 will close for 10 hours Saturday as crews conduct maintenance work.
The closure will run from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 9 while workers pick up litter, trim trees, remove overgrown brush and repair damaged pavement. Several on-ramps to southbound SR-163 will also close, including the eastbound and westbound I-8 ramps as well as the Washington Street and Robinson Avenue on-ramps.
San Diego Metropolitan Transit Systems bus services will be escorted through the closure area during the work period…
