The move puts a 45-day pause on regulations that came into affect on April 1, which gave cardrooms until May 31 to cease offering the card game.
Kyle Kirkland, California Gambling Association president, said in a statement: “Today’s ruling validates what we have said all along: Attorney General Bonta and the Bureau of Gambling Control exceeded their authority by attempting to rewrite California gaming law.”…
