California Restaurants Have Until July 1 to Make a Big Menu Change

CALIFORNIA STATE – California diners are about to start seeing a major change on some restaurant menus.

Beginning July 1, larger restaurant chains in California will need to provide written information telling customers when menu items contain major food allergens. The requirement comes from Senate Bill 68, also known as the Allergen Disclosure for Dining Experiences Act, which was signed into law last year.
