Goop Kitchen, the wellness-centric takeout restaurant concept by actor Gwyneth Paltrow, is opening one of its first dine-in locations in San Francisco after being takeout and delivery-only for five years. No opening date has been announced for the restaurant, located at 405 Howard St. in the Financial District.
A division of Paltrow’s once zeitgeist-defining wellness brand Goop, Goop Kitchen has more than a dozen locations in California. It arrived in the Bay Area in October, initially with three ghost kitchens in San Francisco, Sunnyvale and San Jose. Goop Kitchen recently added a fourth location at 5333 Adeline St. in Oakland, though the company has been promoting the opening on social media as in Berkeley. It is housed in Adeline Food Hall with delivery service Monday through Saturday.
