A beloved California nurse, who garnered hundreds of thousands of views for his candid conversations about medicine and life on TikTok — was killed in an alleged robbery.
Friends, family members and social media followers are remembering 33-year-old Lartey Solomon — who was known as “Nurse Solomon” on TikTok and worked as a registered nurse in the Bay Area — after he was shot and killed in Oakland on May 31.
The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office said in a June 9 news release that Shacory Carnell Daniels, 39, has been charged with murder in connection with the May 31 alleged robbery and shooting. Authorities believe that Daniels shot and killed the healthcare professional while he was walking to his car near 14th Street and Harrison Street in Oakland.
Daniels was arrested on June 4 in in Menlo Park, about 30 miles from Oakland, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.…
