Median home prices in California are at an all-time high with Bay Area sales helping set a new record for the state, the California Association of Realtors said.
New numbers released by CAR show the median price for a single-family home in the state is $930,260 as of May 2026. The record is a 2.3% jump since April 2026, which is more than double the historical average increase between the two months.
