Richmond police arrested a 61-year-old man Tuesday night on suspicion of murdering his older brother following a fight at a Potrero Avenue residence, authorities said.
Jerome Timmons, 68, of Richmond, was found unresponsive at a home in the 4500 block of Potrero Avenue at approximately 9:09 p.m. after officers responded to assist fire and medical personnel on a medical call. Paramedics were already performing life-saving measures when officers arrived and determined Timmons’ injuries appeared to be the result of an assault. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers quickly identified Victor Blacknell, 61, also of Richmond, as the suspect. Investigators determined the two men were brothers…
