Three people were shot early Tuesday morning near Lake Merritt in Oakland, resulting in one arrest, police said.
Oakland police officers responded to the shooting, which occurred after 4:30 a.m. on the 800 block of International Boulevard in the East Lake neighborhood. Police were alerted to the shooting through reports and ShotSpotter, a gunshot detection system. Officials said they found bullet casings at the scene.
