3 arrested, massive amount of narcotics seized in SF bust

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Three people were arrested and a massive amount of narcotics seized on Sunday when the San Francisco Police Department responded to a possible vehicle burglary. SFPD officers from Central Station were dispatched to the area of Mason and Pine streets at around 3:23 a.m.

While patrolling the area, officers observed a man lying on the sidewalk near a vehicle. The man took off and was detained by officers. As they investigated, officers located two other men nearby who also attempted to flee.

All three men were detained, and probable cause was developed to arrest them. Officers searched the suspects and located:

  • Nearly 50 grams of fentanyl
  • 23.5 grams of cocaine
  • 22 grams of methamphetamine
  • Over $1,000 in cash

The three suspects, Jaime Cardena Rosales, 37; Ever Estrada Banegas, 39; and Gurwinder Singh, 32; were all booked on the following charges:

  • Conspiracy
  • Possession for sale of a controlled substance
  • Possession of cocaine for sale
  • Possession of methamphetamine for sale
  • Loitering for drug activity

Rosales, additionally, was charged with resisting or delaying an arrest.

All three men were transported to the San Francisco County Jail. According to SFPD, the arrests come as members of the community had expressed concerns about narcotics sales in the area during the overnight hours…
