A self-driving Waymo car called the cops on two misbehaving teen passengers in California and then delivered them to waiting police.
On Monday afternoon, the 15-year-old passengers were traveling around San Mateo in an autonomous vehicle. While riding in the autonomous car, the teenagers used a toy gun to shoot Orbeez water beads at other vehicles while consuming alcohol inside the Waymo taxi.
According to police, a Waymo employee who was remotely monitoring the vehicle using its internal cameras told the teens that the vehicle had to stop due to mechanical issues.
