San Francisco-based fast-casual chain The Melt has opened its first airport location. The restaurant opened its doors on July 8, offering its signature MeltBurger and comfort food menu to travelers at SFO. The new location expands The Melt’s presence into the airport dining space for the first time.

The Melt has opened a new restaurant at the Harvey Milk Terminal 1 at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The opening comes as the company continues to expand across California.
The Melt CEO Ralph Bower said the brand chose SFO because of its connection to the company’s hometown. “We are excited to bring our bold, melty comfort food to travelers from around the world. The Melt is proud to be one of the highest-rated burger chains in the country, with an average 4.7-star rating across Yelp and Google.”
