(KRON) — Police have announced the arrests of two people in connection to a shooting that took place at an Alameda beach takeover last month. Back on Thursday, June 11, officers with the Alameda Police Department and East Bay Regional Park District were monitoring a large gathering along Shoreline Drive when multiple gunshots were heard.
Officers found two victims, an adult and a juvenile, in the 300 block of Park Street. An initial investigation revealed that someone had retrieved a gun, fired multiple rounds, and fled the scene.

According to Alameda PD, detectives worked with local and federal law enforcement partners to locate the suspect.
