Motorcyclist dies after falling from SF freeway ramp

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A motorcyclist was killed overnight Friday after falling from an elevated freeway ramp in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist was spotted at 11:56 p.m. Thursday by a CHP officer traveling on northbound Interstate 280 near the Highway 101 connector ramps. Authorities said the rider drove past the CHP officer’s vehicle at a high rate of speed and continued onto the northbound 101 ramp.
