Residents in San Bruno’s Belle Air Park say they are frustrated that Waymo autonomous vehicles have recently been dropping off passengers headed to San Francisco International Airport in their residential neighborhood. San Bruno city officials have received these complaints from neighbors and are in touch with Waymo to discuss possible solutions.
In particular, residents said these Waymo vehicles have been heading to the 500 block of Seventh Avenue, which is the residential street city leaders say is closest to SFO. Neighbors said they began noticing this uptick in Waymo vehicles here about two weeks ago, and the frequency escalated.
