A vegetation fire in a very high hazard zone in Joaquin Miller Park in Oakland prompted a multiagency response Friday night.
The fire, which was more than half an acre and burned several trees, burned about 65 yards off the Sequoia Bay Trail in the park, according to Oakland Fire Department spokesperson Michael Hunt.
