(KRON) — Authorities are searching for a suspect who brazenly assaulted a USPS worker at an East Bay post office last week. A reward of up to $150,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the attacker.
On July 27 around 3 p.m., a San Leandro postal worker was outside the Estudillo Station Post Office at 1319 Washington Ave. where she was returning from a break. As the employee approached the building’s back door, an unknown person approached from behind and punched her in the face, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service said.
