More than 1,800 Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers lost power for about an hour Sunday night in San Francisco’s Russian Hill, North Beach and Chinatown neighborhoods.
The power outage began around 7:45 p.m.; the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management said on social media that it was “large” and “unplanned.” The outage was resolved shortly before 9 p.m., according to a PG&E spokesperson.
