Tuesday’s weather across the region will be relatively benign, with a smaller range of temperatures than we’ve seen lately. Highs will range from the 60s along parts of the coast to the 80s and low 90s in the inland valleys.
But even on seemingly uneventful weather days, the weather always offers an interesting twist in the Bay Area.
A deepening marine layer could squeeze out some drizzle along the coast Tuesday morning, while minor coastal flooding will remain possible around the day’s highest tides. And in places like Pacifica and Point Reyes, temperatures could still climb into the low 70s, potentially warmer than large parts of San Francisco.
The changing conditions come as the high pressure responsible for the weekend heat shifts east and a weak upper-level disturbance approaches the California coast. That will cool the air mass, deepen the marine layer and turn winds more southwesterly around much of the region…
