RICHMOND, Calif. (KRON) — Firefighters in Richmond responded overnight to a house fire in Richmond’s City Central neighborhood. The Richmond Police Department remained at the scene Wednesday morning, where an officer told KRON4 that two people had died.
The fire broke out in the 200 block of 15th Street, one block east of Foods Co. The blaze is considered suspicious, as a second home nearby also caught fire around the same time.
People are being advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
