OAKLAND, Calif. Oakland firefighters on Sunday morning are mopping up hot spots after a fire burned a set of old train trestles near an East Bay Municipal Utility District wastewater treatment plant on Saturday night.

The Oakland Fire Department issued an advisory just before 10:05 p.m. on Saturday telling residents near the intersection of West Grand and Wake avenues to keep their windows shut as firefighters battled a blaze burning in brush and consuming old train trestles in the area.
