A fatal motorcycle crash on Interstate 680 in San Jose prompted a Bay Area motorcycle group to cancel its midnight rides.
The crash was reported at 10:58 p.m. Friday on northbound I-680 near the McKee Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency did not provide the victim’s identity or additional details about the collision.
