SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A mass casualty incident was declared Saturday night in San Francisco after a fire broke out at an apartment building in the 1800 block of Mission Street, according to the fire department.
Firefighters responded around 10:30 p.m. after receiving multiple calls reporting smoke coming from the fourth floor of the building.
“Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack, and four victims were rescued from the affected floor,” the San Francisco Fire Department wrote.
