San Francisco Chinese food institution Yank Sing has had an eventful couple of days. First, the venerable dim sum destination announced it will be closing the doors of its Rincon Center restaurant after 27 years. Then, a photo of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis in the dining room blew up the restaurant’s Instagram.
The Hollywood actors and “That ’70s Show” co-stars ate lunch at 101 Spear St. on Sunday, Yank Sing spokesperson Allie Tong confirmed to SFGATE. Manager Liana Bravo, who has been with the company for 13 years, was working on Sunday and received them, Tong said. According to Tong, the famous couple arrived with two of the restaurant’s regulars and sat at a corner table.
“They are super sweet people,” Tong said. “They got a lot of our classics. They got the xiao long bao, shrimp dumplings and stuffed lotus leaf.”…
