SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two people were convicted by a trial jury of first-degree murder and several other charges in a Nov. 27th, 2014 homicide, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins announced Tuesday.
Marquez Harrison, 32, was also convicted of personally discharging a firearm causing death and being a felon in possession of a firearm. LaCarla Carr, 44, was also convicted of permitting a loaded firearm in a vehicle and being an accessory after the fact, the D.A.’s office said.
According to trial evidence and testimony, “Mr. Harrison and Ms. Carr drove through the Potrero Hill Housing Development in a stolen vehicle looking for victim Da’Ron Raynaldo. When they saw Mr. Raynaldo walking outside his home, Ms. Carr immediately drove in the direction of Mr. Raynaldo and stopped the vehicle when she pulled up in front of his residence. Mr. Harrison then exited the vehicle and shot at Mr. Raynaldo nine times as Mr. Raynaldo ran back towards his home. Two rounds struck the victim in the back.”…
