SF man charged with murders after suspected DUI crash kills 2

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco man is facing murder charges after prosecutors said he got behind the wheel while intoxicated and slammed into another car while running a red light, killing the two occupants.

Three hours following Sunday’s deadly collision in Daly City, 28-year-old Alvaro Fabian Caballero-Arteaga had a blood alcohol level of 0.15%, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office. At the time of the crash, prosecutors said Caballero-Arteaga’s driver’s license had already been suspended for a misdemeanor drunk driving arrest in Alameda County earlier this year…
