Lawyers are scrambling to free a 23-year-old Colombian asylum seeker and U.C. Berkeley student after she was detained by ICE Friday while waiting to board a flight to Portland.
Paula Albornoz Hernandez is currently in detention in California City Detention Center in Kern County, her lawyers confirmed.
