Iconic Bay Area radio station looking for DJs, no experience necessary

SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — If you’ve ever dreamed of making it big as a radio DJ, despite not having any experience or training, your chance may have arrived. Live 105, the iconic Bay Area modern rock station that returned to the airwaves last year, is seeking on-air personalities, no experience required.

Live 105’s parent company Audacy recently put up a job posting for “On Air Personality,” stating that not having experience might not be a drawback, but possibly, an advantage.

“Do you love Live 105 so much you wanna be a part of it? We want to hear from you — whether or not you have even a speck of radio experience!” reads the post, which was first reported in the San Francisco Chronicle .

The station, which first went on the air back in 1986, is currently looking for “vibrant on-air personalities who are passionate about Live 105, all things music, and social media.”

“We mean it when we say you don’t have to have ANY on-air experience. Hell, that actually’s a plus,” the post goes on to say. “Just convince us that you’re the one for us.”
