Got a need for speed? Northern California reacts to Scott Wiener’s bill to ban speeding

REDDING, CA. – Senator Scott Wiener of San Francisco introduced a new bill that would physically stop cars from speeding over 10 miles over the speed limit. It would require any new car or truck made or sold in the state in 2027 or later to have special technology installed in the car called “speed governors.”
