Alameda Police have cuffed three suspects tied to a string of robberies during the month of December, including two incidents that had locals on edge, one being an armed confrontation and the other a smash-and-grab. The first of these chilling events occurred on December 12, when assailants preyed upon three individuals seated in a vehicle on the 1700 block of Webster Street, brandishing a gun to forcibly claim their possessions.
